How to Create Labels

  • Click “More” in the list of labels on the left side of the main Gmail screen.

  • Click the “Create new label” link

  • Enter a name for the label in the “Please enter a new label name”

  • Edit box on the “New Label” dialog box.

  • Click “Create” to finish creating the new label.


How to upload profile picture

  • Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your Gmail inbox.

  • Click “Settings” near the middle of the drop-down menu.

  • Click the “General” tab in the upper-left corner.

  • Scroll down and click the blue “Change picture” link above your thumbnail.

  • Click “Browse” at the top.

  • Find the photo you want to upload and double-click it. From there, you’ll be asked to crop the photo as you see fit. click “Apply Changes.”


Digital Signature

  • Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner of the window, and select Settings from the menu that appears.

  • Scroll down the Settings menu until you find the Signature section. You will see a text box as well as a drop-down menu with your email address.

  • You can type anything you'd like into the signature field, and use the text formatting tools to give your signature a custom look. Signatures commonly include your name, place of employment and title, and your contact information.

  • You can change the font, color, weight, and more using the text formatting tools. A signature should be easy to read and professional. A distracting signature will make you look less professional to the recipient.


Vacation Responder

  • Open Gmail.

  • Click the gear in the top right.

  • Select Settings.

  • Scroll down to the Vacation responder section (stay in the "General" tab).

  • Select Vacation responder on.

  • Fill in the date range, subject, and message.

  • You can limit who can see your vacation response:

  • Check the box next to Only send a response to people in my Contacts if you don't want everyone who emails you to know that you're away from your mail.

  • You'll also see an option to only send a response to people in your domain. If you check both of these boxes, only people who are in your contacts and your domain will receive the automatic response.

  • Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

How to Share Files/folders

Levels of access :

  • Can edit: Others can make changes and share a file with others. The default for sharing with specific people.

  • Can comment: Others can view and comment on a file but not make changes. You cannot comment on a folder.

  • Can view: Others can open a file but not change it or comment. The default for link sharing.


How to set Google drive offline

You can turn on offline access for your entire Google Drive. Offline access is only available in the Google Chrome browser.

  1. Connect to the internet.

  2. Log in into your account.

  3. Install Google drive in your Mac/PC

  4. Go to

  5. Check the box next to "Sync Google Docs, Sheets, Slides & Drawings files to this computer so that you can edit offline."


It may take a few minutes for the offline access setting to turn on.

How to convert documents into Google formats

If you want to upload files like Microsoft Word documents, you can change a setting to convert files.

Note: You can only change Google Drive settings from your computer.

  1. Go to Google Drive.

  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner.

  3. Select “Upload settings”

  4. Select “Convert Office files to Google Doc format” Now when you upload a Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, the files will automatically be converted into Google Doc format.

  There are three ways to create the event:

  1. Click on Create Button

Setting up SMS Notification


  • Turn on SMS notifications

  • Open Google Calendar.

  • In the top right, click the Settings icon > Settings  > Mobile Setup.

  • Add your country and phone number.

  • Click Send Verification Code.

  • When you get the text message, enter the code you  received in the Verification code box.

  • Click Finish setup.

  • Choose what you want to get notified about, and  when.

  • At the bottom of the page

  • Click Save


  Delegation (Sharing)

  • Sign in to your calendar at

  • From the gear menu, select Settings.

  • Click Calendars.

  • In the Sharing column for your calendar, click Share this calendar or Shared: Edit settings (whichever appears).

  • In the Share with specific people box, type the email address of the person to whom you want to delegate your calendar.

  • Click Add Person.

  • In the drop-down box under Permission Settings, select Make changes AND manage sharing.

 Hiding the events

  • Sign in to your calendar at   From the gear menu, select Settings.

  • Click Calendars.

  • In the Sharing column for your calendar, click Share this calendar or Shared: Edit settings (whichever appears).

  • Click to share this calendars with others

  • Click the second

  • And choose the option
